Sunset at Remic Rapids

These sculptures are most impressive. The rocks are put together by an artist and the only thing holding those together is gravity, sometime small rocks but mostly he does it by finding the right point of equilibrium and a little faith. No nails, bolts, glue or other mechanical means to hold those like that.

Sometime they barely hold for a few hours, sometime they hold for weeks, and most will be destroy by the next spring freshet. It is an ever evolving and changing artistical landscape. They offer a magnificient lanscape at sunset. The artist is back every summer, building his sculptures again and again. He is the gentleman on the last photo.
